McDonald's Global Packaging Design

In 2020, McDonald’s launched their “Simply Delicious Design” packaging. We led the global adaptation of this design framework across 120 countries. Each product was playfully illustrated to showcase its essence to tell a simple, modern story that celebrates these iconic menu items. McDonald’s food appears approachable, playful, and, most importantly, delicious!


Our packaging expertise allowed us to translate this design framework between different countries, cultures, and languages… 8 languages to be exact! Creating design systems that can flex and adapt to each country’s unique needs.

I created thoughtful color-coding and operational queues to the packaging framework. This helps the crew members quickly identify what menu item they are crafting next in the assembly line, ensuring your order is ready quickly.
